We had some great performances from our JV at the City Meet on May 3rd. Here is a quick recap of how some of our kids did.
Girls
- Tiana Brown placed 3rd in the 200m in 30.8
- We took 2nd in the 4×100
- Tailer Curtis and Navaehia Boston took 1st and 3rd in the Freshman girl 100m
- Maye Sarr placed 4th in the 100m
- Veronica Mingle placed 4th in High Jump with a jump of 4′ 4″
- Aleena Ali placed 2nd in the Shot Put throwing 27′ 2″
Boys
- Ian Vize placed 5th in the 800m and 1600m running 2:21 and 5:14
- We took 1st in the 4×100
- We took 3rd in the 4×200
- Paul Nwankwo and AK Darboe placed 1st and 2nd in the 100m
- Xavier Madden won the Freshman 100m
- Xavier Campbell won the High Jump in 5′ 6″
- CJ Dean placed 1st in the Shot Put
